MASSAGE AND BODYWORK

Receiving regular bodywork is a vital and essential part of holistic healthcare. Gentle and compassionate touch have the power to transform a continuously moving mind and body into a nourishing stillness. When the body is invited to rest, the breath naturally deepens and slows as the nervous system calms. Bodywork promotes relaxation of body and mind, and can touch the physical, mental/emotional and spirit level. Read about the services offered and gifted practitioners below.

Massage

MaryRose Denton, LMT

I am very honored to work with you. My journey in bodywork began 30 years ago, after spending many years as a dancer and studying movement. As a massage therapist, I focus primarily on deep tissue and structural work combining these with complimentary modalities such as meditation and stretching. Each session includes the use of a hot towel, warm stones or cupping, or if requested a small meditation may be added.

I am intrigued with how the body moves and hope to facilitate better movement capabilities for each client while supporting their health and wellness.

When I am not in private practice I work as a freelance writer and traveler. I love words, to explore, and to connect with new people. It is not uncommon to find me and my partner sailing aboard our sailboat exploring these great Pacific Northwest waters. Or you may find me simply hanging out with my two amazing children, who have grown up into two beautiful and amazing adults. They are my inspiration, and my heart. I look forward to working with you.
